It’s almost Iowa State Fair time! It’s August 7-17, 2025. There is always lots to do and see at the fair and you probably have some favorites. Every year there are new events and attractions too. Add these to your Iowa State Fair itinerary.
We’re most excited for the NEW Variety Star Playground. This inclusive playground is designed for kids and adults of ALL abilities. It’s a joint project of the Blue Ribbon Foundation and Variety Clubs of Iowa.
If you’re looking for a sensory friendly experience, come on Wednesday August 13 from 8 am to noon. Childserve is offering a welcoming and accessible Fair experience and two air-conditioned calming rooms in the Jacobson Exhibition Center classrooms.
