Embrace summer with fresh cut flowers. Spend an afternoon surrounded by colorful blooms at one of the many flower farms around Des Moines. From cut-your-own, to pre-made bouquets and even flower CSAs, if you love fresh-cut flowers, it’s easy to surround yourself with them.

Wilson’s Orchard & Farm

What: Arrange a beautiful bouquet from their cutting garden. You’ll find blooms from tulips, to zinnias, to dahlias, and sunflowers.

What: This family owned and operated flower farm is a labor of love featuring cottage gardens, a chicken coop, dahlias, and more. Come and enjoy flower farm tours, you-pick flowers, farm-to-table-dinners, and more.

Valley View Farm

What: They specialize in growing old-fashioned flowers and flowers that hold well as cut flowers. They also make seasonal wreaths as well as other holiday-specific bouquets.
