Join the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick of Central Iowa for their annual parade, starting just before the intersection of Mulberry and 15th streets and making its way to Grand Avenue. Don’t forget to wear green!
March 16 | Des Moines St. Paddy’s Day Marathon & Half Marathon
Don your best green gear and race toward the end of the rainbow. Bring the whole family for the ‘Kids Dash Start’ and 5K.
March 16 | St. Patrick’s Day Pre-Parade Celebration, The Shop DSM
7 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Join them for a pre-St. Patrick’s Day parade family-friendly event at The Shop DSM!
Their first open-to-the-public event, with firefighters serving pancake breakfast, kids activities, and more, right off the parade route.
March 16 | Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Foy Irish Dancers, Central Library
1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Stop by the Central Library after the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade for some hot chocolate and a performance from the Foy School of Traditional Irish Dance.
*Note: Performance will begin after the parade, so the scheduled time may vary depending on the length of the parade.

Miss Jenn is warming up her bagpipes! This All Ages 45-minute Musical Playdate is overflowing with lucky songs, dances, pretend play, and more. Slide down the rainbow, find a pot of gold, dance a leprechaun jig, and enjoy some group drumming. Registration required.
