Iowa’s largest children’s consignment sale is happening this week at the 4-H Building at
the Iowa State Fairgrounds! Whether you’re looking to save money on the items your
children need for spring and summer or live more sustainably by purchasing gently used
items, Just Between Friends is the answer!
JBF Des Moines carries clothing from newborn-junior + maternity, shoes, books, toys,
baby gear, kid’s room décor, and so much more. It’s set up like a department store for
ease of shopping, and they even have fitting rooms.
Just Between Friens is HUGE! Make sure you allow at least 90 minutes to shop and check-out; many people take 2 hours plus to shop. You can’t beat the deals!
Shopping Tips
- bring a wagon to shop with (JBF has shopping bags to use, but a wagon is easier)
- make a list of what your children need/want
- decide when to shop- shop early for the best selection, but you’ll find great deals all
weekend long! - don’t let the checkout line scare you – one line goes to all registers. The line doesn’t typically surpass a 15-minute wait.
- cash and credit cards are accepted (note-credit cards incur a 3% surcharge)
