The Downtown Farmers’ Market presented by UnityPoint Health — Des Moines has created the Drive-Through Bite-Size Market, which takes place each Saturday through October 31 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Iowa State Capitol complex parking lot located at E. 13th and E. Grand Avenue in Downtown Des Moines.
Pre-order produce, meat, eggs, cheese, artisan food items, baked goods, and flowers/plants through the Drive-Through Online Marketplace and pick up specific purchased items at The Drive-Through Bite-Size Market the following Saturday. Customers can also purchase items on site but must remain in their vehicles.

How to Shop the Bite-Size Market
- Go online to Drive-Through Online Marketplace. First-time users can submit their information to create an account. Returning users can sign in with their username and password.
- After signing in, please feel free to browse Drive-Through Online Marketplace vendors and products. Add items you would like to purchase to your shopping cart.
- Click on the Checkout button once you are ready to purchase your items. Make sure to choose the “Drive-Through Bite-Size Market” as your pick-up location and the date you wish to pick up at the Drive-Through Market. Each vendor will have their own checkout process and payment options.
- Meet with your vendor(s) on your specified pick-up date at the Drive-Through Bite-Size Market. Pick up at the Iowa Capitol Complex, E. 13th and E. Grand Ave. in Downtown Des Moines on your chosen Saturday anytime between 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
