Halloween is such a fun time of year! There are so many different activities, cute costumes, and opportunities for candy! My kids run from house to house to see who can get the most treats. At the end of the night, we have buckets full of goodies BUT what do we do with it all?!?
Well first, I pick out the best ones for me! Then my kids pick a couple of pieces as well, and we snack on them for the next couple of weeks.
What to do with leftover Halloween Candy
1. Bake with it. Here are some tasty-looking recipes: monster cookies, M&M cookie bars, and Trash brownies.
2. Freeze it and use it to decorate gingerbread houses
3. Donate it. Head over to Timberline Dental in Waukee and give it to “Treats for Troops”
4. Play Switch Witch–Where kids trade their candy for a toy or book.
5. Make trail mix or use it as an ice cream topper.
